FAQ'S:


IS IT PAINFUL?


The pain involved is very mild. Most clients rate pain a 2/10. We do apply a topical anethestic during the procedure taking all discomfort away if any was present. Everyone’s body responds different to anesthetic, some feeling a little more than others. Our anesthetic includes tetracaine, lidocaine, and epinephrine.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?



The first session normally takes anywhere from 1.5-3 hours depending on the type of service. We do block out up to 3.5 hours on specific services to make sure we are not rushing any part of the process and you leave thrilled with the final result! The second session can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on how the brows, lips, or eyes have healed from the first session.


Who is not eligible for the service?

Under the age of 18, must provide valid I.D


Pregnant or breastfeeding


Taking immunosuppression medication/have been diagnosed with an immune disorder(excludes alopecia).


Have any active infection


Taking Adderall


Must be off Accutane for 1 full year


Taking blood thinning medication


Diabetic (Doctors note required)


Avoid sunburn to procedure area


Noncompliant with aftercare instructions


Currently taking painkillers, street narcotics, or have drinking problems


Have undiagnosed/untreated heart issues


Prone to keloids


Trichotilloma diagnosis (Depending on the severity)


Laser resurfacing within the past year on the face


Botox/Fillers must be done 4 weeks before/after procedure


No Latisse on Brow or Lash Area 3 weeks prior


No Retin-A, Chemical Peels, Glycolics, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Fish Oil 2 weeks prior


No blood thinners, alcohol, ibuprofen, caffeine, or any other pain relievers 24-48 hours prior


Avoid working out 24 hours before appointment


Waxing/Tinting must be done 1 week before appointment.


POLICIES


Cancellation Policy:



Our time is valuable as well as yours and as a courtesy to Lux Skin, should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so a minimum of 48 hours before your allotted appointment time. Every appointment requires a deposit. Deposits are half of the total service price or $50-$150 for Fine Line Tattoos. All Deposits are non-refundable. Please choose a date and time that works best for you. If you reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours before, the deposit will move with your appointment. Less than 48 hours will result in a forfeited deposit and you will need to schedule with a new deposit.


How to cancel/reschedule:


We require 48 hours in advance to reschedule your appointment. We send out an email and text confirmation 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. That option gives an extra 24 hours to cancel or reschedule before our cancellation policy is in effect. You are able to reschedule through the confirmation text or email. If needing to cancel an appointment, please send us an email or call.

TARDY POLICY:


If you are running late to your appointment, please give us a call at 484 893 4716 . Anything more than 15 minutes and we will need to reschedule your appointment and the deposit will be forfeited. A new deposit will be required to reschedule. We would rather reschedule than rush through your service! We always recommend giving yourself enough time to be 10 minutes early.


PREVIOUS WORK:


If you have previous work never done within Lux Skin Permanent Cosmetics, you must email luxskinpc@gmail.com to be approved first. ALL outside work must be scheduled as a FIRST SESSION. We do not offer touch-ups on other artists work. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of deposit and must be rescheduled with a new deposit if work has been approved.



Other Policies:



Please reschedule if you are sick.


Lux Skin has the right to close the day of due to severe or inclement weather. The safety of our team and clients always comes first.


Due to being a service, refunds are not available. If there is an issue or concern with a service done, you have 48 hours to call or email and let us know so we may figure out the best solution for you.


Permanent cosmetic touch ups must be scheduled at the end of your first session. Every client responds differently to the procedures. Results always vary and are not 100% guaranteed.



We require a card on file for all touch ups. If you no show or cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, half of the service is the fee.
